Why do people stand so close to you at the check out lane?
I was trying to check out at Wally world yesterday and I had Sam with me and she was a little crabby (she was hungry) and this women got behind me and pushed her cart right up to me. I was trying to pay and my debit card was not working (I found out today that is was still blocked from Shane's missing debit cards). Her cart was all up in my business and it was driving me crazy. After the cashier handed me my receipt this women was trying to use the debit machine that I was still standing by. And please forgive me because I like to put my receipt in my wallet and then put my wallet away. You think her hair was on fire and she was trying to buy an extinguisher.

Good news. Drink More Coffee.
A study that looked at 88,000 nurses, the risk of diabetes was 13% lower for those who drank one cup of coffee a day, 42% lower for those who drank two to three cups a day, and 47% lower for those who drank at least four cups a day than those who drank none. (losers)1.
More good news! Drink a beer.
Moderate, alcohol consumption (2 for boys and 1 for girls) is linked to lower risk of diabetes.
A study that looked at 20,000 male physicians (I hope they were off duty), the risk of diabetes was about 25% lower in those who had two to four drinks per week than those who had none. 2. The risk was 33% lower in those who had five to six drinks per week and 43% lower in those who had at least one drink a day. 2.
This weekend I am going to Bunker Hill Ranch Resort with Shane, Sam, mom and dad. I am going to work on lowering my risk of diabetes.

Damn you Tae Bo.
I still don't have a treadmill to run on in the morning, but I don't want to get lazy. This morning I popped in a VCR tape of Tae Bo. Run time 57 minutes and I did all but the cool down. I had to get in the shower. I can run 10 plus miles but that tape kicks my butt everytime I do it. Maybe I will contiue to mix it up with the tapes even after I get a treadmill.
Anyone have a treadmill for sale or know someone that does?

Stupid Calories
Okay so I stopped nursing Sam 7 weeks and I am truly missing the calorie burn of nursing a baby. Before I quite I could pretty much eat and drink anything I wanted and my weight was great. Now it is slowly but surely catching up with me. I don’t like it at all. I guess I will have to adjust, but I do miss eating and drinking any and everything.

Sammie Steps
Sam did this about 50 times on Saturday. Yes, she is wearing a cheerleader outfit. Why Not.....
