Sam had a play friend over to play Sunday. They were back in Sam's room (I thought) for a while so we went to check on them only to find them in the baby's room.

Sammie picked these tomatoes herself from her garden. She ate a ton of them last night and again today for breakfast.

If one more person asks me if I have had the baby yet I am going to scream!

This is a baby about the same age as mine. If I has to guess I would say mine has fatter cheeks.

No doc visit this week. He had a family emergency. Next visit Monday the 20th.

Doc visit on Monday went good. Heart rate in the 130s, (boy). The baby gave us the peace sign via ultrasound. Up a total of 16 lbs.

It amazes me, how many meds someone will take to treat all of their “medical issues” but they won’t take the time to lose weight. I think I would be too cheap to pay for all of that medication.

This looks like a baby that could be born soon. Lets hope not!

Dad's birthday gift

Dad had a great Birthday. We went to Grant's Farm with Matt, Becky and Ruby. Then Shane got to work on Sam's tree house (or his tree house) and we went out for dinner. It was a great day.

I can't believe it has been 25 weeks. Time is flying!

I helped with the American Heart Association Walk last weekend and I am not sure what good we did. People were passing out bagels, bananas, oranges and drinking coffee before the walk. Okay that isn't too bad, but after the grueling 1 mile or 3 mile walk they were giving out drumsticks, ice cream cones, hot dogs (turkey dogs) and baked chips. It was only 10am, did we really need lunch? The point of the walk is to raise money for AHA so I am guessing that almost everyone at the walk knows someone with heart disease or maybe has it themself. Call me crazy but did we really need all of this food?
I know party pooper in the house.

Fruit in Cake is not good. Why is their always fruit in cake. It isn't even fruit it is like jelly.
Keep your jelly out of my cake. It's cake not toast.

Rainy day

Last Friday Sam and I went to the Zoo together. It was a great day. We brought lunch but she was so hungry we had to buy a yogurt and rice crispy treat. I can't wait to go again. She loves it.....
We visited the penguins twice and she didn't want to leave. She thinks they are sooooo funny. (you can't tell by the look on her face, but she is having fun. I think she is wondering why is smells so bad.)
